Information About Us

We are a bilingual school located in Las Rozas, in the North West of Madrid, in a well connected area. There is a connection with the airport by train (1 hour) and with Madrid by bus (20 min).

Our school has secondary studies and vocational learning as well. Our students are 12-18 years old. 

We are very interested in learning languages, and follow the bilingual system, since some  subjects are taught in English, such as Biology, History& Geography, ICT  or  Physical Education, This bilingual programme makes our school very interesting for foreign visitors. 

 Some students also learn French and German as third language.

We have a long experience with international programs, and have participated in many exchanges with England, Denmark, Germany, France and even India some years ago! 

We have been part of the Erasmus programs and due to our experience,

WE WERE GRANTED WITH THE ERASMUS ACCREDITATION FROM 2021 TO 2027, it is a great opportunity for our school!!

OUR ERASMUS PLAN HAS 4 OBJECTIVES:

1. Improve language skills,specially in English. 

2. Promote digital skills and ICT methodologies

3. Help vulnerable students to participate in Erasmus activities

4. Promote interest on other cultures,  in order to create a tolerant society, and learn about cultural & natural  European heritage

As accredited school, we have been participating in different Erasmus mobilities:

-MOBILITIES OF TEACHERS: training courses in the summer 2022

-MOBILITIES FOR GROUP OF STUDENTS: 

     -Group mobilities to Molde (Norway ) in June 2023, June 2024, March 2025 

     -Group mobility to Hannover (Germany) in February 2024

    

-AS A HOSTING ORGANISATION, our school has received teachers and students from other countries, that have visited us in order to learn about our educational system and  create new  partners

   

-We have a strong and old friendship with the Norwegian school BERGMO UNGDOMSSKOLE, from Molde (Norway). We  received  groups of  Norwegian students in October 2023 and 2024  (October).

-We also have a good partnership with a German school   GYMNASIUM MELLENDORF   near Hannover, Germany.  We received groups of students in April 2024 and January 2025.

 -We have consolidated a strong partnership and friendship with INSEL-REALSCHULE PFZORHEIM ( Pfzorheim, Germany): we received two teachers in job shadowing in April 2023. They returned with 5 students next year, in April 2024. The students were hosted in families for one week. It was such a great experience for all of them that we repeated it next year with 8 students in March-April 2025. 

     -We received two Italian teachers  from ISTITUTO ESTATALE LUCIOLOMBARDO RADICE, from Rome (Italy) in a preparatory visit in February 2024, and later returned with  five Italian studentsin April 2024, with two teachers. The students were hosted in families for two weeks.
